PassionMap 1.8: clearer loading and mentions

PassionMap 1.8 focuses on everyday fluidity, especially on slower mobile networks.

Lighter loading

No more floating mascot between splash and the app. A thin green bar under the header shows that content is loading — without blocking the screen.

Cleaner conversations

The conversation list waits for names before rendering rows. No more truncated IDs with “loading…”. Event chats stay visible after you reply.

@handle mentions

Type @handle to notify someone in a chat — even if they muted the thread. Tap an avatar for a small menu: view profile, notify, or add as friend.

Directions from an outing

From an event address, open GPS directions and head there directly.
